Im getting so annoyed at my car, and when I ask mechanics they don't even really give me the right answers. So all I really want to know is whats causing this before I take it to any mechanic to be fixed, I hate to get rorted.

Well when I am driving and slow down and then quickly accelerate again my rev jumps so high that it just goes Vroom and doesnt go nowhere.
It happens almost 70% of the time.

What is causing this and how much would it cost to fix?

Okay sweet, This is probably my first time fixing any parts inside my car thats why, I would easily get rorted.
And Also don't know about car parts.

How much you reckon would cost in your own thoughts?

your guess would be as good as mine based one what you've said.......

the only cause i can think of is loss of contact with the clutch.....is ur clutch worn severely?

its sounding like a gear box problem.........

Honda auto's dont have servicable filters, you can only change the strainer at rebuild time.

did you check the trans fluid level. if its low ONLY put Honda auto transmision fluid in it

Okay guys, I'll let you know by the end of this week.
Also there a few other problems to.

My brakes sometimes goes really really soft.
like when I step on the brakes it goes down more than the brakes should go.
and sometimes making it very hard to come to a complete stop unless i release the brake and re-brake releasing the air or something.
It doesn't happen much not but im guessing its because it's winter.
At summer it happens alot.
So on very hot days it will likely to happen.
