lol loud, it damn well wakes the dead when i put the foot down lol. love it :)
havn't notice huge diffrence in performance, maybe alittle better in the top end but nothing huge.

Ran out of time to make box/head shield for it, back at work in melb, no tools or place to work on it here. But thats the plan for next weekend making box/heatshield.

defect lol, as long as don't floor it they won't know. atleast untill i can make a box/heat shield for it.
and according to this, http://epanote2.epa.vic.gov.au/EPA/publications.nsf/2f1c2625731746aa4a256ce90001cbb5/c90ec843f3bbbe8fca256d9f00181c59/$FILE/1031.pdf
it's legal as is. unless I'm missing somthing else.

yeah still gotta remove the resanator and run new piping for it, but thats happening on the weekend to.

P.S- Thanks to all the people who wrote CAI DIY and contributed to them for you great help and advice.

Looks good mate, I got a similiar make-up... only mind is from stainless steel and I would also recommend that you remover the inner protection guard thing where the old air inflow are is...to make it even more less restrictive... I got a K&N CAI - damn, you'll notice with our cars that after 4,000 RPM's...damn, it roars! Chuck it on 2nd gear and you'll hear it roar!

possibly spray the piping black for subtly..."what pod officer? thats stock intake piping'. or alternatively if you dont get any police attention, dont bother. personally i think the blue piping looks nice.

good on you for doing it yourself, and not paying some clown to do it for you!

get rid of that resonator, and get yourself a heatshield
