Hi,

just wondering how i can lower my civic without losing suspension
travel?... will i need shocks with a shorter stroke?

or will using just the standard length shocks with lower springs still give me a good ride without bump-steer?

do koni's have the same stroke as standard oem shocks or are they shorter??
i know that coilovers will definitely do the job but i won't need all that adjustibility...

my main focus is to lower my car without stuffing up my camber etc...

They have both stock and lowered height. Difference between aftermarket (sports) and OEM is that the sports ones are designed to also work with lower heights and provide greater durability, whilsts stockers blow.

Most coilovers automatically lower, even on the highest setting.

As for camber, this is a different issue. When u lower anycar, u'll get camber. So u'll need an anti camber kit regardless of lowering method. Check out Whiteline, SPC, Ingalls.

get shocks designed to fit the lower springs.

Read correctly as "why do you want dumpage for?"

Hence you have people like myself and nugget666 who "responsibly lower" their cars to make it that bit more aethestically pleasing + still drivable + in most cases better handling due to the upgraded suspension.
