Yeh oil tank for the shockers. Usually on small coil overs where there isn’t room for the extra oil when compressed or race coil overs where the oil needs extra cooling by being external.

yup. That oil has to displace somewhere on bound.

and the benefit compared to the other coilovers with no "spray can" ?

nothing.
The only reason there is an external "resevoir" is because either A) the shock is too short/not enough room and needs to displace the oil/gas in a seperate body , or the shocks are higher rated and need the extra displacement ( IE hardcore coilovers etc)

so I assume its easier to maintain these shocks + lifetime if you do constant oil changes like ur engine?

Erm no. They have the same "maintenance" as any other shock. You dont change the oil every X amount of k's...you simply "rebuild it" ( revalve) when they are gone.
