Double DIN surround for EG Civic

Does anyone have pictures of a Double DIN stereo in an EG Civic? was there ever a factory option? Reason being is that I swapped an engine for a CD/Mini-Disc head unit but it wont fit without cutting stuff, and the wife would go nutzo if I do,

USDM had alot of the double dins.

some eg do have a double din console mostly imported ones.. for some reason it was an option i believe coz my aussie one had it..

and i haev a double din stereo in my console.
