hi guys, wanting to buy a euro I found two euro's that interest me...
one is 04 luxury model with 20k in it that goes for 30k drive away, and the other one is 06 sport 5k in it and is for 32k.. which one should I go for?
What exactly a good price for a used euro luxury with low km's?

If you really want HID, a sunroof, and leather, go for the Lux, 20km isnt bad for a 2004 model. Plus you can get the lip kit from Honda and add it later. Check www.carsales.com.au for 2nd hand lux prices. $30K for a 20km 2004 lux seems reasonable, considering they were like ~$43000 new

well that true, but im thingking along the side of the 06 model option like the trip computers, and interior differsnt as for hid I cant put it on later can I? how much is new euro sport driveaway? so 30k for 04 lux is a good price then?

depends i guess...
06 sport is a limited edition remember, so that would contribute to the resale value later on down the track. Plus, another good thing about it is that its an 06 model and only has 5000kms on it. i.e current model + low kms
but again on the flip side, 30K for a 20K kms 04 luxury is quite good too. the previous owner probably didnt drive it much.
Main difference with sport and luxury
- 04 lux has HIDS, sport has halogen
- 04 lux has leather, sport has leather/velour combo
- 04 lux has sunroof, sport does not
- 04 lux has rain sensors, sport does not
- 04 lux has HID washers, sport does not
- 04 lux has seat warmers, sport does not
- 04 lux has electronic seat adjustors, sport does not
- 04 lux has no bodykit (im assuming is BONE stock, not even OEM kit), sport comes with the euro R 06 kit.
- 04 lux has the old cluster with no engine readouts, sport does incl. fuel consumption readouts
- 04 lux only came in stock 16's. sport has euro R silver 17's
- 04 lux has curtain airbags. sport does not
- 04 lux has spacesaver spare, sport has full replacement 17
So bottom line, if you dont really care about the added extras i.e the "nicities" such as full leather seat, HID, sunroof, curtain airbag, seat warmers, electronic seat adjustor etc, id say go for the sport because
1) it is current shape thus newer
2) limited edition of sport (though im not sure how dramatic the resale value will be due to this later on in the future)
3) it has fewer kms

only after the 05 facelift the lux got 17s
stephen8512

As per ekhybrid said, the 05 lux came with the 17" euro R rims
03-04 had stock 16's

Also, I believe all Euros < 2005 only have space saver tyres. If this is correct the 04 Lux will have a space saver and the sport will have a full sized.

Yeh they dont sell the Sports Euro anymore, it was discontinued after August 06. They were around $36000 if I recall corectly.
The manual tri-synchro 'box is great, its silky smooth and easy in peak hour traffic. Plus it makes the engine feel like a V6 and does 0-100 in ~7.7sec (about as quick at the normal Accord V6 Auto).
I drove an Auto and wasnt impressed at all. Felt like a 4cyl performer. But obviously if you dont care about performance, get the Auto.
ps. The Deisel is coming here next year, you may wanna wait for that if ur concerned about fuel prices.

I'd go the sport model but that's only cause the kit, 17" wheels and trip computer are more important to me than sunroof, heated leather seats & HID's. Also it's much newer, less km's and has more wty left.

Have you thought about a brand new car? For $33-$34K you could get a brand new base model manual drive away.

If you don't have a car to trade you shouldn't have any problem finding a lux or sport at a good price. You just have to be patient!

The bumper and driving lights are a bit different.Hard to explain. You need to see them side by side.

For the 2006 ~ the Front and Rear bumpers have a bit of extra "fat" on the bottom and look more sporty. The parking/driving light covers have a slight blue tinge (03-05 has no tinge, they are completely clear).
2006 Std/Lux has a three-bar chrome grill
2006 Sports has an all black honeycomb grill
2006 Sports has a lip kit front and rear (or is it a one part bumper? not 100% sure), and direct replacements for the side skirts (the sides curve out and are lower).

Whats more important?
1) Leather, sunroof, HID, electric seats, rain sensing wipers, etc..
2) Trip computer, less km's, more warranty, sporty body kit, sports grill?

Sunroof is nice but you can live without it.Usually too hot, cold, wet, windy, you forget to use it etc.!!!!
