hey guys, i was looking thru the ek ctr style diy for the rear tail lights n wondered if i should do it to my eg as the boot lights are inactive when braking. the picture should explain it, can anyone run me thru how i should do this? with wiring etc.?
and also has this been done or am i going to be the first?

all you would have to do is splice the wiring from the other brake light bulb to that inner one and get a double filament bulb and bulb holder and replace the standard single filament inner one.

i tried it already.. lol...

u need a another set of blub holders on those corner brake lights. Retro fit them to the center light where the brake parkers use to be... U cant use the center light holders becasue its not the right brake lights. you will know wat i mean wen u try to do it urself

the most difficult part would be running the wires from the qtr panel light to the tailgate light.
but that shouldn't be too ahrd either.

U dont need to change n e thing.

All u do is put a double fillament bulb in there (like ur normal brake lights) And then wire it up. Which will be harder as it on the hatch. No needing to install new hole or n e thing.

BTW RMN15N, its an ADR to have a 3rd brake light, ie the one u wanna remove

when u mean double fillament bulbs r u talkn about the normal bulbs we use??
if so they are in it already and all i have to do is just wire it up right?
anyone help me out with which wire goes where.. a paint drawn diagram would help!.

has anyone got any pix of the lights on? i wanna see how it would look
wires should be easy to splice.. just need info on if its worth to do
