When i accelerate from a stand still there (only sometimes) is a rattle coming from the front of my car, the noise gets faster as i accelerate faster but it goes away when i back off the accelerator pedal and comes back when i press the accelerator. it sounds like something is spinning at hitting/tapping on something faster and faster. When i rev the accelerator ideling theres no noise.....as i said its only sometimes!? so im puzzled! :?

Any help about what it could be welcomed.

Cheers

rattling or a 'buzzing' ?

Might be interference with your stereo..........

check your clutch mate. it might be it. do you experience slippage? or loss of power? ask someone knowledgeable to give it a drivearound. =o)

yeah im thinking gear box bearings or clutch. There may be a loss of power but only slight and only happens maybe once a fortnight. Should i just go to a mechanic and ask them to check the gear box and clutch? anything else?

Cheers
