hi! guys,

Someone told me that it is normal for a stock B16A engine to blow out a bit carbon at 8000 Rev, is it ture? And if you can see some oily/black dists on the rear boot, does it mean that engine definitely buring oil and water?
Any other symptoms shown would mean buring oil or water of B16A? I assume if the car has got a cat on in the exhaust.

Thanks for help :)

well the most obvious sign that its using oil/water is that the levels will drop, and you may see milky oil

that oily back crap on the rear is carbon/fuel deposits.
The car is running rich in upper RPM's ( its a safety thing to prevent engine damage)
And yes , a engine will use oil via the PVC system and worn rings etc. depending on age and wear :)

Black smoke and black stuff on your bumper means you run rich. Most b16a's run rich above 6000rpm.

Blue smoke means you are burning oil.
For coolant, you'll have to check your engine oil, see if it is light brown in colour.
