not hard, engine can remain inside the car and jus few screws and bolts to be undone, its pretty straight forward, then reset the ecu,,....
check the diy on resettin the ecu. and make sure u write up a diy !!! =)

Well I wish it were that simple. Depending on the manifold you might have to extend some wires to sensors, get new hoses, and tap the mani for vacuum lines. As for bolt up that's easy. It's actually harder to get the stock one out then put the new one in.

u mean b18c2 ? I take it u are swapping the stock "upside-down" manifold for a ITR or similar ?
You need pliers , ratchet with 10-14mm sockets ( deep if u can find them) , 10-14mm spanners , flathead/phillips head screwdriver , new intake manifold gasket - and also u need to disable the butterly engagement in the ECU afaik ( stock b18c2 has dual intake runners controlled by a butterfly)

you unbolt them and install them on the new manifold.
There is 2 pipes connected to the fuel rail - inlet + return ( off the regulator) disconnect those and swap around really.
