a friend has brought a dc5 and has a twin loop on it,he is confused whether its original or a copy mugen??when it was on a hoist he noticed it had the mugen power logo on the tip but no stamps on the muffler it self only the jasma certification?

any help i can pass on to him would be great!

notice the lines on the tip etc.

If it says mugen and looks like the latter - im sure its real.

yeah it looks like the latter and its got the lines on the tip and mugen power stamp but no stamps on the muffler it self.. il pass the info on

u said u got the jasma certification then it is real mugen.

not all mugen muffler got that stamp on it.
maybe depends on manufacture day

offtopic question dude,

but, yes a real mugen should slow better than a normal exhaust, probably a bit better than the stock DC2 Type R exhaust. They are a bit louder than stock, however not too loud, for the car enthusiast that doesnt want the fart can rumble or the n1 scream.

So a real twin loop.

1 - sound nice, but not too loud
2 - flow a tad better than stock
