Firstly, apologise if this has been covered before & yes i did use the search function but i couldnt find anything suited to my specific question.

Now, ive just purchased a set of Tein S- Tech springs (Thanks SLPJCooL) and are waiting their delivery any day now. I just wanted to ask a few questions before they got here.

1) does anyone know of a diy spring installation for an EK civic. (ive found one on a EG so im assuming it will be similar but i thought id try my luck)

2) is there anything else that needs to be done besides putting the new springs in. (anything i should be aware about)

3) under both of the front guards of my EK1 there is a big nut and bolt sitting reasonably close to the tyre, what is it? will it effect the car when lowering?

Thanks for your help

try www.honda-tech.com for the DIY
as for installing the springs yourself you will need a compressor to compress the springs. i doubt you would be strong enough to do it by hand lol..
the nut is to hold the splash guard in

i think you should go to a pro to put ur springs in it'd cost you anywhere between (90-120) depending on where you go.

if you pm me ill refer you to a place.
