How much for your turbo? Love to know more about your civic!
The car came with the seat covers- the dealer tried to convince me (at first) that they weren't seat covers.lol. stoopid dealers.hahaha

I can't really reveal the cost of the turbo ;)
Did most of the work myself, so that cut down on most of the costs :D

Let me know if you are keen on offloading those covers :D

Shorty
21-10-2006, 08:49 PM
Why not?! I've got someone that could do the work for me too...so it'll be cheap for me!
tell you what, tell me how much the turbo was and I'll think about selling you the covers?! lol
deal?

SIR GSR
21-10-2006, 08:51 PM

Well, the turbo itself only cost me about $500. That was the cheap part :D

SIR GSR

Keep in mind that I did ALL the work myself...apart from the necessary workshop bits...
Using the stock manifold (with mounting plate to suit turbo), greddy emanage ECU, custom FMIC. Just the basics, and not running crazy boost...

Tell me more about these seat covers? ;)

Well like I said, they were on there when I bought the car. Must be full-on custom fit because they sit really tight.
As for buying them from me, Ill have to give it a little more thought! lol.
I'll see my snap-on guy and get some prices from him for seat covers (and if they do back ones or not) because I cant stand the look of the stock seat! lol what was Honda thinking???

Shorty

Fell free to send me a cheque so I can do some mods!
Shorty=Uni Student....=tight ass.
In saying that though, my last car (a Barina) had 17's and really low suspension..it got annoying driving it! So I dont know. I know rims, body kit, lowering it all looks good, 1st its too expensive and 2nd, its a bitch to drive around with sometimes!
Plus my paint's pretty rare, I dont wana have to pay big $$$ for a spray on a bodykit

SORRY...IM A TIGHTASS AT THE MOMENT! lol
any of you want my rims? they're for sale

i know wat u mean shorty ima student too.. but i purchase smartly..
i bought da base model civic "cxi" which was cheap as chips... then i had plenty of money for doing it up ...

if i had bought a more expensive civic like a "gli" or "vti-r", then my pockets wouldnt be so full,... so no mods. ==>> like u hahahahah
=P

Shorty
25-10-2006, 08:48 PM
I spent 3 months shopping around for my car, with $8,500 to spend and you know what? Cxi's and GLi's are the same price used. I ended up buying my gli for $8,800...but it was the cleanest civic I saw during those 3 months (plus its got a really good sunroof!lol)
so itll just have to be stocky stocky for me for a while.
its ok... my stock civic will kick any other stock civics ass! lol
