ECU is behind one of the kick panels of your car. Mine is on the right hand side.

On a relay (http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images/view?back=http%3A%2F%2Fimages.search.yahoo.com%2Fs earch%2Fimages%3Fp%3Dspdt%2Brelay%26ei%3DUTF-8%26fr%3Dyfp-t-501%26b%3D41&w=246&h=239&imgurl=www.mobyent.com%2FProductImages%2Fmobile_au dio%2Falarmrelay%2FMA-RELAY.jpg&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mobyent.com%2Fbrowseproducts %2FMA-SPDT-DLC-12-Volt--30-40-Amp-SPDT-Alarm-Relay.HTML&size=23.6kB&name=MA-RELAY.jpg&p=spdt+relay&type=jpeg&no=54&tt=742&oid=31d244fce949f4f2&ei=UTF-8) there are 5 poles. 2 for the control side and 3 for the "controled" side.

then wire that to a 560R resistor, then to the positive side of a LED, then the other side of an LED to a good earth.
