hey guys, got a bit of a noob question. after installing headers, hi-flo cat (2.25") and exhaust (2.25") and using 98 octane fuel, is it true you should advance the ignition timing? if so, by how much?

Yes, to get the most energy released from 98RON fuel you should have the base ignition timing advanced.

you may benefit from advancing the timing, more so from the higher octane gas than from the mods, but doing so arbitrarily isn't necessarily the best idea.
