Searched and couldn't find anything.

I was wondering if anyone has a picture/diagram of how the vacuum lines should be setup in regards to the secondary butterflies found on the B18C2.
The motor previously ran a aftermarket ECU and they decided not to control the 2nd butterfly. Instead left it wide open. So the lines are a bit messed up. Any information would be great.

Thanks.

Why would u want them to close??
Car runs way better with them open 100% of the time:)

because some people like low down torque?

Just trying to return the motor back to stock so I can start sorting out the bugs and see what's actually wrong with the car/motor.

The car isn't performing anything near what it's meant to.

There should be a vacuum solenoid that connect to the butterfly and has a vac line that goes directly to the intake manifold. There should be nothing in between them.

Bleh, I'm missing the IAB solenoid but apparently the secondaries don't work anyway.

how do you disable the secondary butterfly? might give it a try. also will this affect the ecu etc?

Lol why does it run better? More air all the time? Noob. The intake is tuned to flow properly under a certain rpm with the secondaries closed. Opening them permenantly provides no horsepower gains anywhere and low down torque is greatly diminished. Wrong wrong wrong. I'm done
