Hey guys....ok i juz recently installed dba slotted discs and endless pads for my ek4 at the frnt....abt 1 month already...not whn i brake slowly it rattles badly...but whn i brake hard or press the peddel harder its ok doesnt rattle what so ever....but juz when i brake softly it rattles badly....wats the problem? cant be taht the disc is warped rite?

if its just new it shouldn't be warped already. Suggest you take it back to where you got it installed and get them to check it. Mine was making a scraping noise on one side, until I got it re-checked and then it was fine.

Sounds like something is loose.

i just installed new front pads and its makin that weird scraping nosies, when i take off, as well, anyone know what it is???

to me , sounds like the metal shims (located on the outside of the brake pads themselves)were either not installed , or install without the moly-grease.
They are shaking around...
OR could be a pebble or what not stuck in there somewhere.

Get a rubber mallet and lightly tap around the braking area to get a location of the scrape/wobble

doo u feel anything on the peddle if u feel vibrations on ur brake peddle while ur brakein its prolly ur disc.

yeah my stearing shakes left and right and brake pads feels wobbly then when i brake harder all fine....ive no idea wat it was...i bought discs and pads frm sumwhr else and fixed it at a diff place...discs i got frm DBA slotted discs....prolly should head back to shop to find out whats wrong...

i had a similar problem a few years back. DBA rotors dont like cheap pads,my pads were leaving the resin on the rotor,which caused vibration under light braking,only option i had was machine the disks and quality pads.
