Clarion DXZ825 RCA help!

hey guys, i installed this HU in my car today. everything works, no problems but the HU has 8 RCA's at the back. wondering which should be used for the sub amp. they are pair off and at different lengths so there are 4 couples. anyone have any idea? sub seems to only work with 2 pairs and not the others.

Don't know much about the headunit but i'd be assuming that

1 Pair - Front speakers
1 Pair - Rear Speakers
1 Pair - Sub
1 Pair - Auxillary input.

usually on clarion Front is Grey lead / Rear is Black lead / Sub is Violet lead / AUX is Red lead, i hope this help
