if u haf a bodykit ... ure car is alraedy pretty low, why would u wanna lower it.. you would find a hard time driving.. always gotta slow down for humps and bumps.. its ridiculous..
and even driving up drive ways.. and exiting driveways.. its fricken annoying yo
gotta go realli realli slow and on an angle.. u get sick and tired of it.. trust me

i rekn u should lower it a bit, cars with big wheels and kits look wrong at stock height, especially civic's

Of cos you need to lower it, when u get large wheels you car looks full jacked up and it’s a joke if don’t lower it, if your car has large wheels and a body kit it makes even more sense to lower it, otherwise your car just looks funny and out of place, you don’t wanna spend all money to make the car stand out in an ugly way.

if u get 16" then u dont need to lower your car
my car has 16" and its low enough

practicality and looks just doesnt come in line together.

if u dun want any hassle and want to b legal..dont lower it.

and NO.. it doesnt look good at all. EK kitted, 17" and not lowered. ( but probably its just how i see it? :) )

body kit with 17's, no lowering? that'll be no good. the gap between the wheels and guards will make it like a 4wd

This is so true. You cant really have both at the same time.. well not really anyway

My tires go under my gaurds and im on stock 15's. Sure i have to drive slower around humps and take it sideways but i dont mind. Thats just me though.

If you really want practicality you should really consider keeping it stock otherwise it will just look funny.

if u dont lower ur car and ur running 17s ur cars gonna look stupid! mine did.
u NEED to lower it. even if u lowered it by 2" at the front ur still at legal height.
if u lower past 2.5" thats when its gonna be too low and u'll start to attract more cops

I agree with TypeRice, 16" and kit makes your car low as already. Friggin annoying. My buddyclub front bar's already got a scratch =(.

soo 17s and bodykit is gayy..established that...so what lower it only 2.5 at the frontt?? what about the back?!?!? how much would that be neway?!

if u have 17s and bodykit, i dont suggest u lower the front by 2.5" otherwise ur gonna have a difficult time driving.
IMO if u have a bodykit and still want that little bit left of a comfortable ride, then 2" is MAX.. usually if u buy a set of springs with a drop of 2" at the front, then the back is usually 1.7" to 1.8" which is good enough. but then again, any car with wheels and bodykit will eventually scrape. its what u prefer.

Here's 17s...front CTR lip...and lowered about 2.75" at the front and 2.25" at the rear (1 finger gap b/w the wheel and guard all round). And yes u have to drive slow and sometimes sideways over speedhumps and driveways...but mind you to date I've never had a driveway i couldn't enter or speedhump i couldnt go over.

Here's before lowering:

Depends on what kit u buy, some kits dont lower your car much at all while others stick heaps low to the ground. Get the kit first and decide how much lower you need to go afterwards.

ive considered it, but ive already scratched the kit underneath a few times, and so has other ppls such as mechanics and shit.. so its too low already...
