My extractors been dented and flattened in recently from a cruize to King lake. 2nd time its happened already :( . Just found out I can get a skidplate to protect them.
Where can I get them from???
Do there come as a universal fit or secific size/shapes for the teg?

Anyone else know where i can buy skidplates for dc2 in aus?
This would be an easy DIY. go grab some scrap metal and have a go. i dont recommend alluminium though, its too soft.

search for the pic of someone with a DA9 who used a piece of 5mm plate. As thats the easiest way.

The JDM 4-1 Skid Plate is constructed of 1/4" thick 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, so it can take almost any punishment the road can dish out.
if the sheet is thick enuff. then i think aluminium will be ok?
i want mine to look nice and bended into shape like that one .. :P

It looks like a simple 90 degree bend which any exhaust/fab shop should be able to do for you. Its just a matter of lining up the bolt holes properly.

jdmconcept in the trader section sell's them,it covers the whole underside front not just the exhaust, its overkill for what you want, i got one of him 4 my dc2r and its fantastic, and it improves the handling at higher speeds too
