dismantle LSD?

the one i have has been contaminated with metal particles (the gearbox it came from blew a bearing) so needs to be cleaned...

is it easy to dismantle?

i have removed the two screws (with impact driver), but it doesnt seem to want to separate appart?

is it just tight or is there a special way to do it?

if your referring to taking your gearbox apart there is a special clip that needs to be pushed down in order to take it apart.

if i was referring to taking the gearbox apart, i would have titled this thread "dismantle gearbox?" not "dismantle LSD?"
