You'll find that most aftermarket kits only provide you with the two top mounts and the rear mount.

Not sure where you could find the other two mounts from but you could always solid fill them yourself.

I find this strange too, why don’t most of the aftermarket mount makers provide all 5 mounts?

maybe they wan to sales with other set....but we can prevent wheelhop already right?

It will reduce wheel hops, not eliminate it, at least that's the case for my ek with hasport, I still have wheel hops just not as bad. The front 2 apparently plays an important role to reduce wheel hop, that’s why I am getting these filled with polyurethane.

nah....you dun need the front mount....just the 2 on side and the bottom rear mount will do the job bro...I am running on the same setup and everything goes fine......if you put the other mounts in as well u need to prepare to get a hand message everyday.....they leave the front mount to allow some movement so ur car dun vibrate as much....but those 3 mounts help with wheel hopping.....coz since I got mine I haven't got 1 wheel hop since then......

i only got 3 in my mugen kit. front and two sides. mechanic said they probably didnt do the rear one in order to reduce cabin vibration. if you have mild bolt ons you shouldnt need anymore.

yeah.....the respond of the car is improve and make some difference....the Exhaust sounds louder and with more low note.....its like music for me everyday....and the annoying wheel hopping is gone.....if I change my clutch I think the respond of the whole setup will go to another level......but b4 that happen I am pretty happy with it now.......highly recommand mods for ppl with broke mounts or in the market for engine damper.....

Can anyone enlighten me on the point of aftermarket engine mounts? I'm curious, as since putting it flywheel and HD clutch I have a feeling it's causing more stress on the engine mounts due, don't know why.

once you install a set of clutch, eg: Exedy then the mount changing is a 'must' for dc5 (not sure bout dc2 cause dc2 had a better & harder mount compare with dc5). otherwise the stock mount will broke easily...
