Hey guys, i noticed today that when i turn left at a pretty high speed, i hear this noise like a metal noise. Kinda like when u tap a chopstick on a metal pipe... lol Yeah was just wondering what this could be as it seems to be happening only on a left turn i notice.

You've hit the nail on the head czy_sol87, it does do that! What could be the problem there?

the problem is your power steering rack or the bushes on the control arms...

you could be leaking power steering fluid and should check this out... if it is leaking, you could get ait reconditioned but only at a power steering specialist

also if it involves your bushes, you'll have to get new bushes and get them pressed by a mechanic

Do you have any idea how much these problems cost respectively? Cause i'm a bit low on funds atm.

i got my power steering rack reconditioned for roughly $500

and bushes replaced for $80

Cheers thx for that, now it's time to look for a trusty mechanic... any recommendations in MELB?
