A Hyrdaulic clutch is the pedal to gearbox linkage ~ IE runs on hydraulic fluid.

A button clutch is a CLUTCH pressure plate type , which is "on/off" on application , compared to gradual like other ceramic , metallic or organic
type clutches.

for YOUR car ( EK4) , any hydro B series clutch kit will it.

Search on organic clutch kit etc....here are some basic prices

220 X 26 X 24
EG6 EK4/9 DB8 DC2 – B16A/B B18C (Hydraulic clutch gearbox B-series)
Exedy standard clutch kit - POA
Exedy heavy duty clutch kit - $345
Exedy heavy duty button clutch kit - $455
Exedy sports organic clutch kit - $410
Exedy sports ceramic clutch kit - $560

Good brands are: ACT (http://www.advancedclutch.com/), Exedy (http://www.exedyusa.com/), Competition Clutch (http://www.competitionclutch.com/main.phtml), or oem.

what are u gonna mainly use the car for, if its just for street driving, and the occational 'sprited driving', then i would go with the heavy duty, or the sports organic.
i got the sports ceramic from excedy with a spoon flywheel, and its a bit hard to drive, and also a bit annoyin for a daily driver, it shudders alot
dont get the button clutch unless ur car is gonna be strictly for track or off road drag racing, as ben said there is no friction point, either the clutch is gonna be in or out

since ben has already explained the difference between button and hydrolic clutch, ill address somthing else

Wat engine mods have u done to ur civic?

how often do u track ur car?

is it a daily car?

im going to assume u track once or twice a yr and u use ur car for all other daily purposes and that its stock

therefore, IMHO, go for a new replacement stock clutch

a heavy duty isnt needed for a daily driver, with little or no engine mods

a heavy duty clutch is tiring to drive, more difficult and tricky to use, and the pedal is alot heavier

honda stock clutches are tough enuf for the occasional track day and can cop a good thrashing from a stock engine, so u dont need a heavy duty

Can't get ACT here, but after looking on eBay and doing price conversions, they shit on OEM replacements available here for price!!

Heavy Duty pressure plates certainly offer more pedal resistance than a standard unit, but unless you have serious chicken legs, you will get used to it in no time.

I chose a heavy duty pressure plate and a full face disc so I could slip it like stock, yet still have grip for turbo loads of torque. Pedal feel is near stock to be honest; but my old pressure plate seemed to be a lot stiffer than many i'd driven.

I've driven a friend's 6 (or is it 4? can't remember) puck clutch, and to be honest I hate it. It takes the fun out of driving. I mean, I want my car to be enjoyable at full throttle, and even just cruising around, but a on/off clutch which requires pin-point footwork to slip doesn't do anything for me. Obviously you'll get used to it and it will become second nature, but until I have a stupid ammount of power, pucked can get ****ed.

The end.
