hi all, im looking at investing in one of these meters jus for entertainment value and was wondering which of these two ppl recommend. the g-tech seems to have more features but runs entirely thru the cigarette lighter and is not wired into the ecu - the main downside of this is that it doesnt have the speed limiter cut that the apexi has but can it also cause it to be inaccurate? the black apexi rsm (with the g-sensor unit) ive seen for $450 whilst the g-tech is $650. Is the g-tech worth the extra $200? any help is appreciated thanx :)

I can only comment on the RSM with g-sensor. It seems to work nicely and reliably. Over the 1/4 mile you are looking at an accuracy of about 0.1 to 0.2 although it really depends on how much wheel spin you have. On some of my runs without wheel spin it was deadly accurate (ie to the 2nd decimal point).
The other good thing with the Apexi is you basically have an electronic guage with RPM and speedo. I use this instead of my dash most of the time.
