it's just ridiculous that that happened... was in total disbelief when you first told me about it and now seeing the pictures... I'm still confused as hell. Any ideas what's causing it?

It can only be comin from inside the timing belt cover yeah?? Maybe someone left a socket in there by mistake and its rubbin on it??

It'll be interesting to find out thats for sure.

Hey trav, you seen my portable soldering iron? Last place I remember having it was soldering some wires near your timing belt??? These new fangled infrared things are hard to keep track of. :P

ps. seriously though. I swear you are due for some good luck for a change. Maybe a stroker kit will magically appear in your garage tonight....made of gold...delivered by naked women.

you usually find a problem like that when your beating a WRX in a race, pulling 8000 RPM, 3 hours from home when it decides to let go

U reckon?

I broke one less than 5 mins away from the Honda dealer I was taking it to at the time, to get a leaking water pump changed & was gonna get the belt changed cos it had to come off anyway.....

Beat that one
