My LS is build date Mar 1992, if my understanding is correct from what I have read on this forum so far, there was a change to the engine on Integra's some time during 1992. Is this the transition from obd0 to obd1 ?
If so how do I tell which mine is, does the engine or chassis number tell me anything?

Well your chassis number will tell you, but I doubt anyone who doesn't work for honda has the facilities to look it up and tell you.

What colour are the plugs comming off your distributor? (and the vast majority of important plugs). If they are grey, you are OBD1, if they are a yellowy clear then you are OBD0.

The change was not only from OBD0->1, but there were many asthetic changes aswell.

Pretty much if your car (stock) looks like arse, then you have an OBD0 version, conversely, if it looks like sex on wheels, it's OBD1 :D

if your car has orange tail light indicators and your front indicators are not square (they would curve out on the edges).. and there is no holes/vents under the indicators...theres a 99% chance your car is OBD1

i really think the 89-91 LS looked better than the 92-93 one. I like the grey at the back instead of orange. I also like the stock alloys better in the earlier ones Apart from the small power difference, same car pretty much. I know this thread wasnt about that but i thought id add some input.:p

Just to have my say OBD0 has a single pipe front exhaust pipe, OBD1 has a twin pipe. I also like the the look of the earlier 1 but OBD1 does make life alot easier.

My ECU is the variety with the little round window in front which flashes codes to me via a red LED, so in answer to my own question, and with help from you guys, I must have obd0....
Is that good or bad ?

nothing wrong with any obd# series. I only changed to obd1 so i can use uberdata/crome and data logging. Also saves pulling up the carpet to check codes.
