Unfortunatly they are FWD (front wheel drive)
How quick?
Well what you comparing it to?
Handling is excellent, they have the H22A in them (i think)
Accelation isn't bad!!!

You talking 1/4 mile or track or what regarding speed?

Preludes are not the fastest car around but unless you are a speed freak it will still be fast enough for most people. A manual Vtir will probably do high 7's - low 8's depending on the condition and the driver's ability.

Yeah, they are heavier than ya civics and integras, but more refined, more comfortable, and just a little bit different when it comes to styling...

Mine does it (on 16in R tyres) in 7.7. Pretty much otherwise standard.....

Man u guys are driving slow! I have a 2000 vtir lude fully stock and the last time I checked I did 0-100 in 7.2 secs. I know some people with some mods do low 6's.

i timed mine with stopwatch, best run of 3 was a 6.8 0-100 I have [acronym:3dd3e71931="Japanese Domestic Market"]JDM[/acronym:3dd3e71931] h22a in accord. with zorst and pod. Accord and lude weigh pretty much the same. JDm h22a has slightly more power than [acronym:3dd3e71931="Australian Domestic Market"]AUDM[/acronym:3dd3e71931] h22a

okay. thats news to me.

redbook.com.au lists the 97 vtir as having an output of 143kw which is 191hp.
[acronym:d4a010535c="Japanese Domestic Market"]JDM[/acronym:d4a010535c] h22a's have an output of 200hp which converts to 149kw

type s h22a has 220hp/164kw

99+ Prelude's have 147kw thats all i know. Honda got the extra 4kw from the exhaust. And you conversion is wrong. 147 kilowatt = 199.8643777 horsepower. You have to use metric values.

wtf? metric values? metric hp is actually PS. You do know that PS is the jap standard of measuring power output dont you?

go check out this convertor and do your sums properly.
