auto euro owners... does any of you notice that when cruising at speend around 90 to 100... you can SORT OF hear tiny whistle sound? and when you accelerate that sound gets a tad lounder and if you release the gas the sound gets smaller...
will it be possible tranny related issue?
the reason i assuming its the tranny is beacause it is what happened to all accords sold in Taiwan..( 5 speed, w/o tip tronic)

mm .. didnt have that problem, maybe because i put the music loud all the time :)
could it come from the noise from the tires??

What you describe could be wind noise..
What sort of exterior accessories do you have on the car? (Rainshields, spoilers, any extra holes you cut etc)....
Can also be one of your windows/windscreen that has got a leak....

Whistling that sounds like a mini supercharger. My car has that too. I can hear it from 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear.... and mine is a manual.
If it is the same problem, it's not the transmission. I've turned off the radio and I can still hear it. Could it be associated with the accessory drives?

LOL @ supercharger.
Nah, it's not wind. It happens in an underground car park when I'm in 2nd gear. LOL

Haha, It's not because of wind because it varies in volume with the throttle position and it varies in pitch with RPM. When I shift to the next gear, the pitch is lower eventhough vehicle speed is the same or higher.
