hey,

i've noticed on my s2000 that my steering is alot harder/stiffer than the few other s2000's that i've driven.

any ideas what it can be?

thanks in advance

are you sure its definately stiffer?

because when you're driving someone else's car your a little bit nervous and a bit more cautious so you hold the wheel tighter which might make it feel lighter

and are you comparing both cars in the same conditions? i.e. same speeds. not under braking conditions and stuff?

yeah 100% sure its stiffer

even got the owners of the other s2000's to drive my car and they definately say its harder.

yeah pretty much same conditions.. normal street driving

Don't forget to check the halogen fluid in your headlights too.

Guys, the S2000 has electric power steering not hydraulic so no fluid involved.

If your power steering is on it's way out be prepared for a large bill.

lol you're funny aus.

reset your EPS. according to the service manual, if you do some things to it you gotta reset the EPS (like removing your gearbox)... reset the EPS!!

While youre at it, you could get the Mazda FD3S power steering rack modded and fitted... It will be less fragile, and probably still cost you less...
