conversion will fit, but you will need some aftermarket parts.

I highly recommend HASport mounts for the conversion as that is what I use along with the Sub-Harness and Shift Linkage.

you will find there are no HASport distributors in Australia (that I know of) however as I have mentioned before there are pleanty of dealers in the US and Canada who are willing to ship to Australia, HASport also will shit out to Australia but their Retail price is alot more then a dealers special price.

as for which engine, the easiest swap is the B16A from the 89-91 EF8/9 SiR "b16a1 Engine" as this gearbox is cable, and so is yours.

The hydro clutch setup can be done but costs a bit more.

you are better off getting an EF8/9 front cut ($2000-$3000)
I paid $2500 for my front cut from ROLIN AUTOMOTIVE in QLD www.japparts.com.au

there should be a few topics in the archive on this topic ... but if you need any more clarification PM me... but please no nooB questions  do some research first.

If you have an EW2 Engine, you have a 3rd gen Civic, not a 4th Gen which ran the D16. The 4th gen NEVER came out with an EW2. Yours must have been built just on the move to the new model. The mounts are slightly different between the two models. You need to get in contact with ALLMTR and find out where/how he got the mounts done on his drag version of your car. The Integra XSi is probably as a good an option for a front cut as a EF8/EF9 - built at the same time, it runs the same B16A but slightly different gear ratios and also has a cable clutch.

Persoanally? I'd get a B20 from a CRV and a Y1 tranny from an EF - you get a better performance platform that way.

wouldnt that be more expensive though? i mean i know its still gonna cost a lot but with the 2.0 i would have to change a lot more than just the clutch and gear box
