I have a set of air horns (two trumpets) from my last car and wish to fit them to my 2005 Euro. Before I start figuring out where to put them (there doesn't seem to be much room in the engine bay) has anyone done this allready?
Is the tune "la cooka racha"? :)

I'd think that a good spot would be right where the intake on the bumper for the Radiator as the cavity there is quite large.... That'll give a loud forward sounding horn..
How long is the pair of air horns?

The longest horn is 220mm long, I am reluctent to fit them very close to the front of the car as the compressor does not like water getting into it. The compressor needs to be as close as possible to the horns to get the full effect.
Has anyone fitted air horns to their Euro?

i had twin airhorns in my old car....loved it, coz ppl just moved when u blasted it...even better in an underground car park...lol
but i haven't attached it to my euro yet...
does anyone know if the euro already has a relay for the stock horns??
coz my last car had a relay for the stock horns, and i blew fuses when i put another relay in...LOL
gotta love the americans who hook up frieght train air horns to their cars lol

they're like HIDs...
the only hard thing is finding where to mount it...
the rest is just plug ur positive wire into the positive terminal, and vice versa for the negative terminal...
unless u need to wire it up to the relay, which i don't think u do coz the euro already has a relay for the stock horns....
right???

My air horns have a relay which came with the kit. Somebody out there in the big wide world must have fitted some to their Euro.

yeh the airhorns come with a relay...
but when i put it on my old car, i didn't need to use the relay coz my car already had one for the stock horns...if i hooked up the relay then i'd just blow the fuses...
i just unplugged my stock horns, and put the positive leads into the stock harness for the stock horns....
and the negative leads i grounded to the battery...

OK I finally got my finger out and jacked the car up onto axle stands and had a good look around for a location to fit the horns, and the news isn't good. Honda dont waste any space when they build their cars, the only place they would physically fit is between the engine and the fire wall but that is above the exhaust and the heat would destroy the plastic horns.
So the only option seems to be to mount them on the dashboard, but then I would have to drive everywhere with the windows open because I don't think I would have time to wind the window down before pressing the horn.
Anyone want to buy some cheap secondhand air horns?

just mount it behind the front bar...in front of the radiator...

The problem mounting them infront of the radiator is that they, and the compressor, will be subject to getting very wet in inclement weather. My son mounted horns in a similer location on his Commodore and the ceased to work after the first bout of rain. The rain had goten into the compressor and stuffed it up.

There is plenty of room under the passenger side headlight - people who have installed a CAI will know there is a huge cavity there.
