stock ecu will probably give you 0% to 1% gain,

tune it properly by someone who actually know what they are doing and it will have abit more potential. dont expect to much though. might get extra 10kw out of it

Hi, here is a link some specs of different engines http://hybrid.honda-perf.org/tech/specs.htm. As you can see the B16b motor makes around 25hp more, but it would be specifically designed and tuned to suit by honda to run smoothly and make those numbers and i imagine the exhaust might be slightly different, I would definately not recommend putting that head on with out a tune to go with it (will not run right and make hardly any power). So after buying the head and putting it on to make a neglible amount of power is it really worth it, and if you do decide to get a tune (more money)to make say around 20hp is that worth it. Hope this helps but its up to you to decide, later.

Oh dont forget the motor will have different fuel requirements, v-tec change over points etc so i would say no tune no go, and if tuned right will be stress free, here is a link that explains the specifics of the B16b motor which has the head you want to put on, you can compare and decide for yourself, later.http://www.geocities.com/nofearirc/ek9.html
