hey guys. . .
i drive a 92 EG civic and ive got promlems with my reverse lights. they are always on! as soon as i turn on the car they turn on.
if anyone knows how to fix this prob den put sum input plz and let me know. . .

your reverse light switch on the box is probably focked, see if there is constant power coming from it.

Switch is on the gearbox. auto or man?

yeap the reverse sensor on the G box check it out

my car is manual. . . where abouts is this switch located?

i couldnt find any pics with a google search but i'm pretty sure it'll be around the top of the gbox
edit: jt got in first coz i was watching tv (-_-)

sorry guys to be a hassle but can someone be more specific in exacly how to fix this. like what in on top of the gear box - wires, a switch or something? to be honest i have no idea how to fix this and is it easy to fix?. . .

turn your ign on then unplug it and see if your lights turn off

This is an EG9 but yours should be similar concept.

Unplug the plug circled & turn car on.
If lights are now off then u know its a switch prob,which is generally located at the front of the g/box where the arrow points to,u can follow the wiring(red line) down to the switch if u cant see it.
If lights still on, with plug disconnected,report back.

to double check, use a multimeter and check for continuity between the 2 pins on the gearbox side connector. It should on only have continuity when reverse is selected.
