Gearbox Question, Thanks~

Hi, i notice that in Japan they have auto civic SIR for both EG and EK......did anyone know if i put a B16A to my orginal auto gear box will it be ok? Because i still like to drive auto since traffic jam is quite serious in the place where i live~
My car is a automatic civic coupe.......thank you very much~

This is just what I would do personally so do not take offence..... but if I was to be keeping a civic auto I wouldn't bother with the B16A. I'd just get a Jackson S/C and go from there. Only way I think there would be enjoyment with a auto in civic and have decent performance, more so because you are voiceing concern over driving in traffic, instant throttle with a S/C is really what you are after.

Hope this has opened up new options as opposed to a can of worms. ;)

hey man... umm... if u want "vtec" for performance then auto is the wrong way to go about it... ur auto gear box ratios/comptuer simply wot let u go in vtec every gear...far as i know u will hit bvtec only at wide open throttle in 3rd gear? or something? it wont make much of a difference for ur normal driving...

considering the cost speedcore is right... get a supercharger
