hey everyone
i took out the spare DIN storage underneath the radio/cd changer and then my sis took the car out and the deck fell down and i assume shut itself off cause it has an anti theft system. thinking abt getting a new deck but just want to know how to turn the damn thing back on cause it seems like it has no power. As for the clock it doesnt come up anymore... :thumbdwn: which is really annoying when i check the time and its not there!! anyone know how i can fix this?

sounds like a fuse problem. make sure you check that first.
fuse box is located under the steering column in an integra.
fuse 23 and it takes a 15w.
this is what happens in my GF/s ef.
Might be different for a teg as radio is fuse 23 and clock is 15.
Check both!

there's a fuse in the fuse box in the top right of the engine bay..
i believe it's the "back up" fuse..
replace that.

Better yet, if those specific ones don't work, check all your fuses.
Since your clock went out at the same time, that tells us that it's much more likely to not just be an issue with the radio.
So check fuses, and as before, the wiring. If all the fuses are fine then wiring could have been pulled apart at a join, or a plug might have become disconnected.
If it's a wire it'd be the yellow ('IGN'?) wire, not the red 'Constant'. Or a 'Ground' wire. Follow the wires from the back of the head unit and along the stock wiring until you find the problem. After you've checked your fuses, of course.
Good luck
sounds like fuse prob
i've seen the same thing happen in an ek sedan...i just replaced the fuse (sorry can't remember which one) and both the clock and HU (which was aftermarket) worked again

fuse takes 1 minute to check buddy.
save yourself the trouble and check engine bay fuses and dashboard fuse first. no need to be ripping out head units.

If it "fell out" check and make sure all the wires are still connected. If they are and still no power pull the unit out and look on the backside sides, or bottom for a very small hole or button to push in with "reset" written near the hole. Or look in your owners manual for reset information. Most radios made today have a reset system of one kind or another. Push the button or slide a pin into the hole and push the reset and see if it powers up.
hmm ill check but as i said its kinda old HU stock abt 9-10yrs old

if the clock and the headunit went, it's a fuse issue
stop even bothering with the headunit
your problem is fuse related

Clock & stereo are on 2 different circuits(2 different ground points also)
They only share the back up fuse, which will not stop the clock being displayed(just wont hold the right time) same with stereo(just wont hold the presets),unless u had a catastrophic surge thru the backup circuit & fried both the clock & stereo.
Has this car got any DIY/aftermarket wiring associated with these 2 devices or in the near vicinity to these devices?

fuses arent broken in both the driver side and engine bay... checked for a reset button and there isnt one... checked manual but only showed how to make the HU work after it has lost power but mine has no power

as my previous post i think theres some DIY/aftermarket wiring...
my dad said something abt the HU might have a fuse told me to check the black fat wire coming out of it and later there should be a fuse... havent found that yet cause its going under the carpet and when i started to lift it up there was all this carpet underlay...
HELP! lol or would it be alright to just get rid of this stock HU and get another aftermarket HU... i guess tahts the last thing i would try and do

all fixed but before i fixed the clock and the radio the light for the speedo went out.. like all the other lights work just not the light when you switch onthe parkers and the normal and highbeam lights....
changed the back up fuse cause it was broken in the engine bay... theres some fuses that i replaced in the drivers side which arent broken but they dont seem to have any power getting to them(when using a voltmeter to check they dont light up) any sugestions??

If there's no power, and every fuse is 100%, it's time to check the wiring.
The very fattest black wire will either be for the antenna or a cd changer, no fuses there. Also could be a ground wire. This must be connected to ground, but there's no fuse there either.
Red and Yellow wires will be the power wires. Only power wires are fused. Or at least they should be :P

there is power.. now that you mention it some of the speakers dont work so probably wiring issue just the lights at night cant see how fast ur going :S

Not all the fuses are powered all the time.
Some come on at different positions of the ignition key & some like headlights, etc are downstream of the lighting switch,ie they wont be powered till after u turn the switch on to the appropriate position.
some fuses & other blank spaces are for diff model options & aftermarket addons,so wont be powered till the loom upgraded or addon installed.
so dont fret about some fuses that dont have power to them.
check u havent hooked up the H/U incorrectly to the dash lighting wire & check your dimmer switch on the dash, good DIY in DIY section for this.

Oh, so the original problem is fixed, but you've got a new one? BL
Maybe a dimmer wire ground out or something. Check the fuses for your licence plate lights/instrument cluster again.
Hopefully the globes didn't blow  Go around the car and hunt down everything that doesn't work. Any blinkers, highbeams, the highbeam indicator, reversing lights, plate lights, interior lights, clock, defroster etc.
Knowing exactly what is faulty can help tell us where the problem is.
Which speakers don't work, and do you mean no sound at all?

yeah original problem gone...now...
speakers: front right works... front left and both rears dont work
all electrical works mirrors sunroof exterior lights... except for dimmer for speedo
also want to know whats wrong when you put new fuse in and it doesnt light up... like no power is going through them
