aftermarket ECU would be a benefit.

which model accord? a h22a swap is an option and costs about half of a turbo. alternatively, unless ur really attached to it, ide suggest jus dumping it for a lude/teg or sumthing more performance oriented if power is ur main objective. gettin any decent power out of an accord engine, especially urs, is not gonna be cheap or easy.

turbo's are that cheap now? go for some cam gears to give more of an aggressive rev range, and w/ an aftermarket ECU like phathom was saying would help.

don't forget though there's a limit to what you should do to a non-vtec Honda engine. i've hit my limit with mine so yea..

i was under the impression that h22a swaps were about $5k and turbo can be had for about $10k depending on how far u wanna go with it...

other than that maybe a lightened flywheel might help as well?

$3832USD for a swap sounds right and $7665USD for a turbo sounds high. Most turbo kits will got for $2kUSD/2600AUD to $3500USD/4566AUD. A full kit will add about $1500AUD and if you want an ECU like Hondata or AEM EMS add another $2k AUD. So for $10K AUD you can get a lot into that little motor. Just because it doesn't have VTEC doesn't mean you have a stopping point. Look at a basic Chevy v8, they don't have VTEC and we can get 5k+ hp outta one with twin turbo and a lot of work and tuning! You have a good start and about the only things left are internals, intake mani, turbo/s.c., throttle body, fuel, and ECU.

Fuel can be knocked out with like $1kUSD/1300AUD.
Internals for about $7500USD/9800AUD plus machining and labor.
Intake for $500USD/650AUD.
ECU $1500USD/$2000AUD plus tuning and that's a little high on the price. I priced for an AEM EMS.
Turbo $2-5kUSD/2600-6500AUD.

You could also go for a bit more efficiency.
Light weight wheels, good spark plugs and leads, good tyres, weight reduction etc...

Mugen has the right idea, efficency with what you got is usually cheaper.
