I know +48 and +50 would be perfect offsets for a 7.5" wide rim, but is anyone running +44 or +42? If so can you please provide some pics to show how much it 'sticks out'? (I imagine it wouldn't, but would like to get an idea anyway).

Thanks!

with a 7.5" rim you'll be able to get away with a +42 offset as long as your not 'dumped'. I have a 17" x 8" wide rim on my car and experience little to no rubbing at my current height

here's a picture - they are within the guard by a mm at the most (tyres are 225/45/r17)

With those offsets on a 7.5" wide rim you wont experience any probs and it wont sit outside of the guard. You may run into probs if its dumped and you want to correct the camber or if you run a lower offset on a wider rim of 8" on a wider profile tyre like a 235.

I hav 17x7.5 +45 sitting on Tien SS with a 1 inch gap btw tyre and guard all round, no probs at all but i also run a Fulcrum rear camber kit to keep it in spec.

sorry forget to mention they are a +42 offset

like mugen88 said you'll be able to get away with an offset of say 40+ and above with a 7.5" rim but if you plan to lower it more than 2" i'd say go with 45+ and above just to be safe

ZEi20T - it's the oem kit, the rims are wedsports tc-005

itr025 _ I have 7.5" rims on my euro as well and they are only a 40 offset. I have lowered the car 35mm and have nodramas with rubbing (i have a camber kit on the rear and am running oem camber ) but like has alreadybeensaid you wouldnt waant to go anyless than 40-42 or you might run into trouble... Cheers dude.

i'm also very interested in this so thanks OP for posting it.

i've actually used tyre calculator and a rule / tape measure to work it out.. due to the front wheel sitting further out in the guard, a +40 offset will make it completely flush.

but completely flush is bad, because once u lower it it will get dangerous, so it is actually ideal to have it sit at least 5mm - 1cm inside the guard. this also looks better aesthetically as the wheel guard is not the same protrusion all the way around

+48 - +50 will achieve the best result but u will find it hard to get these aftermarket for cheap... personally i wouldn't go under +45, but +42 is tempting if it is a good buy

also, there is the issue with the rear wheel sitting further into the well, which i've tried to discuss here: http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=55636
