2003 euro

Hi guys
Im new to this forum and this is my first honda
I have a 2003 euro and its a purple color do you guys know hopw many of these were made because there doesnt seem to be many around the same color

Was this a special option?? does it cost extra??

it wasnt a special edition colour. when they released the euro in 2003, this was one of the colours in their lineup.
however, honda scrapped this colour as it wasnt popular and not many sales were happening. the purple colour is only avail in the 2003 range euros.

So i guess you could say urs is pretty unique...
Only other purple euro ive seen is EUR-00R, nickname on these forums as FATFISH i think, but he's never on.
He has a DC5R wing, mugen grille, OEM kit, 18" g games 77B, VAFC and a pioneer LCD deck

I dont think Honda Aus ever released the purple colour officially, I read it was a mis-shippment that were supposed to go to Europe or somewhere, but ended up in Aus

No, it was a proper colour. They only sold a few and then they scrapped that colour in the 2004 lineup.

It looks more like super dark blue to me. It was called Nighthawk Blue pearl.

It's dark blue. And I would have bought that colour if it came with a black interior.

i really liked that colour too... i think it was the interior that made it sell poorly

Yeah. it was only for the lux.
But in 2004, they made arctic blue available for lux as well.
Can't wait for next year when they start selling black with black interior.

Would also be interesting to see that new Dark Mocha paint colour too.
Although the colour doesnt really suit the euro in pics but may actually look alright in reality. Reminds me of a Falcon colour..

Trust me guys in the Sun it is purple it looks blue when the car is dirty and when the sun is down but when the sun is shining its purple anyway im not gonna argue with you guys and just wanted to find out if this was a special color or something as there is not many euros going around with the same color


And yes they are bbose wheels

It's the pearl effect. Even arctic blue looks purple when the sunlight hits it from above at noon.
