No h22a is an older engine.

i can think of better ways to spend AUD$7500 though .

nice avatar nick :) i wouldnt mind getting lost in there!

and why is there oil on the manifold?? looks sus! and how do they compression test a motor when its not in a car? connect a battery to the starter while its sitting there? or hand crank it over?

The first euro-r had a f20 dohc engine. the newer one has a k20a

SiR had the F20C.
CL1 EuroR had the h22a
CL7 EuroR has the k20a

And the EuroR's k20a is different from the DC5R's k20a. EuroR's makes peak torque at 6000rpm while DC5R's makes it at 7000rpm. Peak power is the same.

isnt the F20C from an s2k?

the CD6 SiR (94-97) had the H22A as well
the CF4 SiR/SiR-T (97+) had the F20B
