Width is only part of the equation. Offset is important too. My rears are 18x9 with a 60mm offset. They fit nice and don't rub. I'm running 265/35s on them.

thank for that, is it possible to run concave's?

or do you have to stick to face 1 types?

:D

nice.

but also got a question in regards to that as this has been confusing me. if you run a high offset like 60mm and have wide wheels would that also increase the amount of dish you would get? or dish is only affected by offset?

Sure, but it still doesn't mean they will fit.

The limiting factor on an S is the horizontal distance between the hub face and the panel. If you go for wider wheels (9" is about 230mm) then you need a higher offset so that more of that 230mm is behind the hub than sticking out. My 230mm wide wheels with 60mm offset have 55mm of wheel out from the hub (175mm behind the hub).

Assuming mine is at the limit then a wider wheel (10" 255mm) would need an 85mm offset. But you still only have 55mm to play with for dish.
