have any1 instead of using existing screw holes, you've drilled new holes for the speakers?? one of the the screw cannot be screwwed in tightly...does it matter that much?? it's for the rear speakers

i was thinking i can leave that screw, and that the other 3 would hold the speaker in place...thx for ur help guys

it may rattle, most probably will if you have a sub.
or go over bumps.

u should have your speakers on tight, otherwise the bass will make it rattle against your panel

you do a bodgy job you get a bodgy outcome

i got my splits intsalled,
insteading of putting spacers they guy, jus made 3 new holes on the existing door trim, modified the actual door trim itself a bit to make it fit. it actually screws in really tite. well its a cheap way.

as long as u can screw it on tightly.. shud b fine i rekon

i used a space coz my splits speaker was to big and the power windows kept hitting it when i put the windows down.

just got my speakers installed, it fits right and its tight enough

if 3 screws hold it just take the 4th one out it will remove the ratle
