yeah you can get an aftermarket actuator and fit it , if the factory actuator is at fault

most people do use aftermarket units to replace it, beucase brand new is too exxy, and second hand ones, you don't know if that's focked either.
quite easy to install, only 2 wires.
and cheap as well, about $30, and you get yourself probably 4 actuators, and everything you need to mount the new actuator.

i used to have that problem too... you would lock the door.,. and it would click-click-click-click-click for a few seconds then lock.. and the same when opening.. i just unplugged the central locking.. its usually the actuator but its a lil tricky to get to.. i cbf fixing it.. just live without central locking

Yeah i had the same problem with my central locking system it was on the passangers side if i remember.. Just wear and tear on our older tegs i guess.. All i did was went down to my mechs he found the problem which was the actuator he called up my local honda wreckers which was good cos he was able to get the second hand actuator at a discount which was bout $25 came back to him he fitted it in like 5-8 minutes looked real easy and charged me nothing for labour and its been working fine for the last 1-2 years

the actuator is inside the door panel, yes it is the black thing that connects to the rails that lock and unlock the door. it has two wires if im not mistaken... it is just bolted or screwed on..

oh ok, tht so, so the actuator is the central lockin unit, tht it was gona b somethin else, yeah, so im just gona but a 4 pack coz ther lik 40bucks, an change it....but if its click doesnt it mean that it still works?
could it b the rails that have might b loose or something.. coz i took @ look @ the actuator an it seems fine? or should i jjust go ahead an replace it?
could the rails b faulty? or need replacin, not the actuator?
