has any1 put on front bars n had 2 remove the reinforcement bar to make it fit?
ive got a civic coupe n for sum reason its welded on. should i cut it off u reckon?

nah, its there for safety reasons, aftermarket frontbars should fit without cutting away into that bar. i think you should cut a bit of fibreglass away from the aftermarket bar :D

yeah we fawt of that n it didnt work out. its a buddyclub bar so maybe sum1 here has done it b4?

shit man, are you serious? dont ever cut chassis components from your car...unless you are upgrading it with something else. no matter how small and insignificant it may seem it's all there for a reason. i cant even begin to explain how unsafe it is to start chopping at rails and reinforcments :shock: . it shouldn't be that hard to modify the front bar to fit. if you cant do it take it to a body shop and they can do it

i had to take mine off to fit my front bar, its just bolted on
but in accidents u'll make heaps more damage to ur car...so be careful
