Slammed EG!

Hi guys. I'm fairly new to the Honda scene full stop. I've only had this for a few months. I'm regularly cruisin around the Gold Coast.

I own an EG8 sedan, which is a little different from most others out there. ;)
It has a stock D15 twin carb, with an exhaust system. It may not be fast, but it's great on fuel and excellent for cruising.
Interior is pretty much stock except for cream leather inserts on the door trims. Wheels are 17 inch Alba Bank.
Drivers side has been airbrushed with 9 colour graphics, while the passenger side has been reprayed the factory white.
It has a FBSS air suspension setup which has 1/2inch lines, 120 psi pressure switch (extremely fast), 10 position switch box, and big tank and compressor mounted in a custom boot install (pics of that soon).

I'm in the process of installing tuck valves in the rear, so that it can 3 wheel. Plans for the future include a full bodykit, shave the door handles and boot, and re-do the graphics but i'll be spraying the left side a different colour. Interior will get a full re-trim eventually.

Been down the Spit, on the last 2 sundays actually, to suss things out. Was in my RX7 tho. Tend to keep the Civic away from where the cops usually are, but it's been pretty quiet the last couple weeks.
Mite head down there this weekend in the Civic.

hi 5lam, WELCOME! i dunno abt the colours - looks too busy to me. but that's my opinion only. i like the fact that you have spent money on your car. i love the air susp. but hey, as long as YOU like it then that's the most important thing! yeh the bodykit would be a good investment!! will look HOT.

Yeah, looking at adding a kit very soon, just hard trying to find something that suits the lines of the car. I'm not after anything wild like a veilside, I just want something smooth. Plus I'm looking into putting a DC2 Integra front on it, depending on how difficult thats gonna be.

Yeah, I don't mind the kit on ICEBOY.
Is there much difference between, the Aus and Jap DC2? I'd be putting a fibreglass bar on it still, anyways.

as much of a JDM whore that I am, I actually dont mind a set of airbags etc on a EG sedan.. reminds me of a club member's EG sedan 'Chun Kie' Chandra's ~400hp boosted + NOS SOHC VTEC on bags etc.. was in ICEBOY's league.. was a Hot 4's cover car a long time ago - it also had the integra style front end treatment... wasnt a conversion - was a custom bumer with the small round teggy headlights.. you'd LOVE this car !!

The Aus front has two round lights each side and the JDM is a single piece unit that is more conventional in shape.
I think an Aus front would look nice on the EG, no idea how much work it would take though.

Yes I'm still here, but I don't own this anymore. It got sold ages ago, and has been through about 8 different owners since then.
It's a shame, cos it was really tidy when I had it.

I now have an EH9, which I've just finished an EK front swap on, and I have a hydraulic suspension kit waiting to be installed.
