Get a SI model. It will save u more money in the long run and less headache during the conversion..

But if u know ur shit, an GL is not bad, can save urself some money

GLI is the best way to go, its EFI so it'll save u abit of money on the conversion, it has power options and theres lots of them going around, see if u can find one in good condition but with lots of ks.
if u want a sunroof u can look around in auctions and see if u can get a cheap VTi, i remember seeing one with 320,000kms going for $6000.
Si would not be that suitable as u'll end up paying more for the car and in the end it'll be exactly the same as a GLI after the conversion.

Meh forget the breeze and GL carby models...

Get the Si or VTi if you aren't gonna do a conversion.
Get the GLi (cheapest EFI model) if you are doing the B18C convert.

GLi like me! so easy to convert to b18c/16 just needed to run 6 or so extra wires to bay and everything is pretty much plug and play. plus they are usually cheaper than the vti/si.

Check redbook's 1993/94/95 civic section for more info and average prices:

Thats not cheap, i payed $5700 for my vti. and it only had 67,000km on it.... 2 years ago. I dont know why people pay so much for a 13 yr old car. But if iu can get a VTI, or a GLI. Remember Si and VTi have rear disc brakes, the rest dont

go the si becos the ones you mention dont have rear disc
you could get more money for your si motor if you sell it
vti is 50 kg's heavier with the sunroof

lol yeah i really dont know why anyone would even pay a cent for a honda yet alone a civic, but for some weird reason thats the price range they're going for today...
but atleast the VTi has a sunroof which adds some sort of decency to the car...

how much are they asking though? if they are asking 5000 then try and get it for 3500ish. its hard to sell old cars like civics plus 1500 can go a fair way when it comes to your conversion so bargin hard

yeh i'll try bargin hard. gli is the cheapest EFI i could find. if i get breeze or glir im gonna have to end up spending more money on the fuel tanks, rails, rear disc, rear lca.
i'm gona pop over to the dealers next week and see what i can do.

I dont mean there worthless. But hell, ppl try and sell breezes for $6k.

Or ED'd for 4k. I payed $500 for my ED, served me well on my L's

Civics are good car, mine has had less problems than my mates commadore of the same age, but with used car prices the way they are now, you can get much newer cars for the same price, maybe a little more

There a hyundai (yeah i know there not the best cars) 2002, only 4 yrs old for $5700 on car sales. Even if it is a hyundai id rather a 4yr old car over a 13 yr old one.

Just make sure you dont pay too much mate, try and bargain as much as u can. Dont get an SI as its just a GLI with discs, which as somone said, discs can be had for a few hundred. But if u want a sunroof, get a VTi.

VTi would be the way to go
the Wiring harness doesnt have to be chanaged if it's a OBD1 engine that's going into it
