Hey guys got a problem,

while i was doing an oil change i saw a cut wire well 2 wires..

to me it looks like a sensor, like the vtec sensor anywaiz

its located under the alternator / battery for my EG

any1 got any idea what the sensor is? if it is even a sensor

It's either the knock sensor or the oil pressure sensor.

Check your ECU for codes to see if its the knock sensor. When you put you key in the ignistion and turn it to accessories does the oil pressure light come on? If it doesn't it means your oil pressure switch isn't working (or the wires have been cut ;))

some D16Y have a CKF/CKP sensor on the crank pulley.

not sure if you have a D16Y, but thats one option

but as above if you can take a pic that would be good

Under the battery /alternator?

If its not on the block,then power steer pressure switch?

hey thanks for response..

hmm i got a d15b SOHC, ill grab a pic tmz hopefully it aint that hot

to be exact, its near the oil filter, its on the engine.. ill try grab a pic tmz!
