MB Quart Speakers

hey guys...i was planning to install 6.5" Mb quart speakers into my car..but i heard something about MB Quart that they are generally bigger than normal due to some magnetic thing not too sure lol...i was wondering if they would fit into my 98 honda accord? if theres any other suggestions for other components speakers feel free thanks...

it depends really.
thier lower models could have small magnets, and usually thier higher models have bigger magnets.

what you do, is look at the specs, the mounting depth, and then measure your car.

if its 98 accord front speakers, unless they are slimline speakers, u will have to get rid of the slimline speaker cradle and then put in a spacer. accord 98s run 6.5" fronts and 6x9" rears. hth's.

if you are having trouble with the magnet you must make a MDF spacer out of 3/4 inch MDF...otherwise then the magnet will not allow for your electric window to travel properly
depending on which model of MB speaker u got...but generally most component speakers have a bigger magnet in order to produce that midrange bass.

but yeah measure the stock mounting depth then from there get your desired spacer then mount on :) simple
