SERIOUS QUESTION .

Hi all,

I would like to ask whether the FIBRE GLASSES body KIT are strong enough to support the chasis .

I smashed the front Side Guard and I found some aftermarket side guard have the vent there.. it looks very nice. however, I imagine if my stock EK side guard was made of fibRE glass.. it will cost much more damage ..

anyone has experience in an accident which cause more more damage bcoz of the aftermarket fibre glass body kit ?

depends on what damages alain
(what happen why accident?!)
aftermarket kits are most for looks
but it can absorb the vibration from the accident as well
but if its a serious accident....i think you better think twice

yep, depends, if you have a small accident with the stock fender, they can bog it up and replace.

In a more serious accident where the fender is totalled, a f/g fender may be better as it'll break off easily without causing extra damage to the car body.

if you get properly made ones from jap (not dodgy fibreglass ones) theyre usually a bit flexible/mounted loosly so there isnt much damge if its a light crash....

no much confidence with the fibreglass..
