thats a nice drop height, its all for show though mate... its not very practical... problems you might face are scraping in the usual shopping centres and driveways.

if you get descent suspension (something other then just springs) you should be ok.

If you're plannin on having a car that low pls don't skimp out because lowered cars can be dangerous if not done properly.

Do it once, do it properly.

i dont think tats awfully low. larger wheels (ie:19") tend to reduce or fill up the gaps between top of the tyres to fenders. looking at the overall body height of the pic posted, wth added side skirts and front bar, the height off the ground is still acceptable. it may well b just around 3" drop.

regarding problems u may face on lowering..deciding on a right offset and width for ur 19" is a good start. for a drop as seen in pic, rolling guards/fenders often helps. but if u can get good fitment for ur wheels, fender work could b kept to minimum. to go a lil extreme, some ppl remove the inner rubber guards, so there're more room and less chance of tyre scrapes.

Hi Guys!

thanks alot for your advice and help!...

but juz wondering...if lets juz say this was a 3" drop, and i was to drop it 3" on my stock wheels, would there be any problems that i would face later on once i do find my 19's and fit em on besides the tyreware and maybe the rolling of my gaurds???...

...like im still thinkin whether i should drop me car now on stockies and wait till i have the cash for my 19's and fit em later or to find my 19's first and then perhaps drop it once i found the rims i was lookin for???

once again guyz thanks for your help! much appreciated!!!

i reckon get the rims and then drop it. You'll find it'll be cheaper in the long run.

if u drop the car too low, the sway bar links will hit the shock body. metal + metal contact. these cars were not designed for extreme lowering.

see my DIY in my sig for a 2.2F and 1.9R drop.

i found it real annoying as the underscarriage dips down. i smacked the UC a few times going over mild speedhumps.

then i raised it back up to 1.5F 1.2R and i'm happy.

yeh i rekon get ur 19s first and drop it at the same time because then youll be able to distinguish just how much u want to go low.

rollin on stockies and goin low isnt much of an eye turner unless ur going for that jdm look. but seeing as you want 19s then i guess your goin lux.

4" drop with 19" would be perfectly fine for everyday driving, only places u cant go is westfields shopping center carparks.

my old car was dropped 4" at least and it got around fine.

the pic looks about 4" at the rears and maybe tad lower than 4" at the front if they are 19's.

best thing to do is fit in your 19s so that you know how much to drop!
but ill say chuck on some adjustables why your at it, just to make sure you dont scrap your car.
btw...that pic looks hot!

ey mate,

1 problem i faced with my civic when i got 19" wheels is that once i lowered it u will lose part of ur turning circle,

i cant fully lock my wheels now with out jaming which is a annoying when doin u turns.
